This year the kids got to go to our church's trunk-or-treat on Saturday night and then regular door to door trick-or-treating Monday night. I forgot my camera Saturday night so I have no pictures from the trunk-or-treat, but I snapped a few of the kids Monday night.
Kieralee was a most gracious princess. She actually hugged just about everyone that gave her candy.
These two had so much fun! Heath didn't have a costume but when someone asked what he was Lathen out of nowhere said, "He's an alien in a human costume." Works for me! Kevin was a trooper doing all the walking with the kids while I followed in the car. This was Heath's first time doing trick-or-treating and it was adorable. He quickly learned to say trick-or-treat (or something that sounded close to it), he also said thank you a lot. Oh yeah and he picked up the word candy too. He was not impressed with the idea of putting the candy in his bag. He wanted it handed to him and then opened immediately so he could eat it. He did eventually get the idea of putting it in his bag.
This Halloween was a lot of fun. It's the first one in a few years that everyone was well and could go. Now if I can figure out what to do with all this candy!

I know it's a little late, but I plan on having the "Switch Witch" come each Halloween. You let your kids pick out X amount of candy and you leave the remainder for the Switch Witch. She comes and switches the candy for a toy/prize...then you don't have to worry about your kids eating all the candy!
PS...I'm sure you hear this a lot, but Kieralee looks like such a mini you!!!
Love and miss you!
