A visit to Auntie Eva

My sister is in West Virginia right now so we took a day trip on Friday to visit her. On the way up there are two very interesting things to see. One is a John Henry memorial park (that makes it sound like a lot more than it is). It is actually a small turn off in a curve on the side of a mountain over the Big Bend tunnel. If you don't know much about John Henry you can read up on him by googling or you can visit this site. We stopped at the memorial park to get some pictures taken.










The second thing to look at is this one lady who does up her yard for every holiday. Easter is my favorite! The pictures don't do the house justice, but some day I hope to have a yard just like hers.








And finally what would any house be without not one but TWO of these statues...
