It snowed in Texas! Yes over the weekend we had super nice weather. Warm enough I was out in a t-shirt, capri pants and crocs! This is what we looked like Sunday out playing in a nice warm rain...
Then later that night the wind picked up and we had huge thunderstorms, hail and all. Then Monday night Kevin, the kids and I were out and about when it started to snow. At first it was just some flakes. We stopped by the Viehweg's to see how their house is progressing and when we went back outside to leave we were greeted by the most wonderful of surprises, everything covered in white! The snow had accumulated and I think over all we ended up with 1-2 inches. I know some of you are thinking, 'wow that's it' but I assure you that that's a BIG deal in Texas! Immediately we Huff's started in on what we do best during the snow, throwing snow balls! Nothing like getting pegged by your 3.5 year old. It was a ton of fun. Thanks to Jeanette's quick camera grabbing she was able to snap these pictures. Thanks Jeanette!

I know what you are wondering now, "What's the weather like today?" It's sunny and almost 60 degrees...got to love Texas.

Crazy weather patterns....the "bubble" is the same way!
So some how I completely missed the snow! I got home from work at 5:30 and did go outside again until this morning at 9. Someone told me it had snowed last night and I didn't believe them...i guess your pictures prove it!
I can't believe you guys got snow!!! We had snow on Valentine's Day- but that's it since then!
ya know, last night was my first snowball fight in Texas. so glad you guys stopped by!
Great pictures. I might have been tempted to put Eli's toes in the snow, so it was a good thing he was asleep. :) Your kids look like they enjoyed themselves.
