Yes I know it's November, but it takes us longer to get cold enough for the leaves to change. Lathen's favorite tree, the one in our front yard, it's leaves finally turned yellow! Granted our other trees are still mostly green, but hey it's something right?
On the other hand this was the view from my parents porch over a month ago!!!
These are the mountains that Kevin and I grew up around...I miss those mountains. There is no better place in the Fall than the Blue Ridge Parkway

I only lived in those mountains for a year, but they've left a lasting impression on my heart...I miss them dearly too! I can't imagine how much worse it would be had I had them all my life.
