Kieralee had her three years old check up.
Her stats are:
Height: 38 inches (making her taller than 80% of other kids her age)
Weight: 32 lbs (making her weigh more than 70% of other kids her age)
The doctor said she is one good looking girl! That she is tall and slender (which she has been told all her life). Kieralee passed all her what-she-should-be-doing-at-three stuff and then some.
Sadly she had to get three shots. Apparently Texas has over 70 times the cases of Heb A over other parts of the country. So Heb A is now a required shot. Poor girl. She did good though, cried for a minute and then recovered quickly. She's one tough cookie. I get the feeling it won't be the same when it's Lathen's turn. He informed me today that he no longer wants to turn five; he doesn't need to see the doctor or get shots.

Joni, as long as Lathen has gotten all of his shots on time he might now have to get any shots. At least Hyrum didn't. So maybe he might want to turn 5 after all!
I wish that were the case. In NC it isn't required to get Heb A, but here in Texas it is. So he'll have at least that one.
Shots--blah. I don't blame Lathen at all.
I am so happy Kieralee passed all her benchmarks. Lathen will love his birthday not the doctor visit but his birthday will be great!
