A sibling shares an intimate relationship with you like no one else can. Siblings have the potential to be an invaluable source of strength and comfort. A genuine compliment or words of encouragement from a sibling can have a profound impact on life. That is why I am so grateful for the relationships my children have with each other. It is also why I try to foster these relationships they have in the hopes that they will take them into adulthood. How wonderful will it be for them to have each other as a source of strength in the world they are growing up in?
Lathen is an ideal first child. He loves each new sibling that has joined our family. He desires to help and protect them. I am grateful for his example to each of his siblings.

Kieralee has followed Lathen's lead. She too loves each new baby that is born into our family. She naturally desires to nurture and comfort her siblings. I am grateful for her place in our family.

Heath is falling right into pace with his older siblings. He too has happily welcomed Desiree into our family with love. He already acts in what I can only describe as an innate desire to love and respond to his siblings needs. I am grateful for Heath and what he brings to our family.

I'm excited to watch Desiree grow and make her lasting relationships with each of her siblings. I have no doubt that she too will love them as much as they love her (which is a lot!).

Boy those kids are something special. And a lot of fun too! I can't wait to see the years to come and watch their friendship grow. We sure do have some cool kids.
