Six o'clock

I often wonder if my kids are soaking up the information I am trying to pour into their brains.  A few weeks ago Lathen was expanding his knowledge of time.  Part of his study included a book all about the different ways to keep track of time, from the first clocks down to modern clocks.  The next day he came in from playing outside and asked me if it was six o'clock.  I check the clock and sure enough it was six, "Yes, Lathen it's six, why?"

  "That's what time my sundial says it is!"  

I guess he is getting it.
