A few big events

On May 7th we celebrated one year in our house. That's right we have officially lived in our house for a year and we don't even have a move planned (it's a big deal if you know our story). We even had a special dinner to celebrate!

Then Mother's Day. We spent the morning in the ER. That's right, nothing says happy Mother's Day like an ER trip. This is what landed us there:

Kieralee is allergic to tree nuts. We have SIX pecan trees on our small little lot of land and they are all shedding their pollen. So she is having an allergic reaction. We tried to beat it here at home with medicine and creams, but Sunday morning it was clear that the allergy was winning. The ER gave her a nice big shot in the butt (she was not happy). Unfortunately the shot only worked for less than 24 hours because those pictures above are from this morning. Poor girl is just suffering.

That being said I did have a good Mother's Day. My family made me breakfast, lunch and dinner. I didn't have to cook one single meal! They also did some other nice pampering things for me, thanks family! I'm actually mostly sad that I didn't get to have Lathen sing with the Primary for me. I guess there is always next year.

Oh my goodness. Poor little thing! How miserable. Congrats on the 1 year mark in the house. Ours is coming up too! Horray for not having to move, again.
