Making a small dent?!

Well I've completed six years of my time and all eternity contract. I'm feeling like I've put a small dent in it! Six years ago today Kevin and I were married and sealed in the Raleigh, NC temple. It's one of those things that feels like it was only yesterday but it also fills like a lifetime ago...if that makes sense.

Last year on our anniversary I posted our story with pictures, you can go here to see/read it.

This year I thought about what I would want to post in honor of our special day. I decided I would post things in quantities of six (because that's how many years we've been married)!

Reasons I love Kevin:
1. His kind heart
2. His genuine love for others
3. His willingness to give it his all
4. The way his eyes light up when he smiles
5. How he comes home everyday happy to see his family
6. He honors his priesthood

Things I love about our marriage:
1. It's for time and all eternity
2. We can be total dorks and still be in love
3. Our two beautiful children
4. We don't fight
5. Getting to wake up to the man of my dreams every day
6. Having someone to grow up and grow old with

Things Kevin does to show his love:
1. He gets up 5 days a week and goes to work
2. He cooks, often
3. He calls me during the day just to see how my day is going
4. He doesn't mind if I call 100 times a day
5. He tries everyday to make me laugh
6. He tries hard to make our life the one we want

Things we've done:
1. Moved 13 times
2. Had two kids
3. Overcome hardships
4. Meet some of the worlds best people
5. Traveled to Puerto Rico
6. Hiked in a rain forest

Things we want to do:
1. Have more kids
2. Travel
3. Own land
4. Be debt free
5. Go on missions
6. Grow old together

Things we've learned:
1. Marriage takes work, lots of work
2. You have to take time to show your spouse you love them
3. The hard times won't last forever
4. Laughing together can cure many things in a marriage
5. You have to help each other
6. Keep your sights on the eternal goal and never look away


I think this eternity contract isn't so bad :)
