Lathen started Tee Ball on Monday. He was apprehensive at first, but once he got there and got playing he loved it. He did great. At home he hits the ball when it's pitched to him so it took some adjusting for him to get use to the idea of hitting it off the tee. Then it was funny because we haven't really ever taught him the rules of the game (lame, I know) so when he took off running he forgot to leave the bat. Once he was told to drop it he did, it was pretty cute. He did stop a grounder that was hit to him!
His team is the Red Rockets. Which is great because his favorite color right now is red. After his first game I think he is hooked. He loved it so much that he slept in his team shirt.
Not to mention how much fun Kevin had because he got to stand out there and help!
