Today was the first day of our 2010-2011 school year. The kids have been so excited to get started and were glad that today finally came. Today went great! Lathen started first grade this year and Kieralee started pre-school. About the middle of our school day the kids suddenly realized that they couldn't just get up and go play and both had separate mini meltdowns. But they quickly recovered and finished strong. The best part, it's only 1:00pm and we are already done. Although, they are still in there coloring in their color and read books, but that is only because they are loving it.
I hope the rest of the year goes this well.
Of course this morning after breakfast right before we got started we had to take back to school pictures.

Love your new banner with all the kids! I would love to hear more about how homeschool days go (schedule and such) and if there are programs that go year round and if you've thought of doing them. That was a run on sentance!
Looking good you guys! Cash has to wait till tomorrow for school. Poor kid he has been asking about the bus all day. "Time yet?" Hope its a great school year for ya!
