You see I married a sports family. I grew up with a father who enjoys shooting and working on cars. We never watched sports on tv. We grew up taking gymnastics, some swimming and a little karate. The Olympics was about the only time we watched sports on tv. When I was in high school my brother played soccer. We actually started watching some soccer on tv. Then I married Kevin. He loves watching sports on tv. Just about any sport, but he's favorite is baseball followed by football (does that surprise you?) The first high school football game I ever attended was when I was married to Kevin. We went to watch his brother Steven play. I admit it, I enjoyed it. Mostly because I could cheer for Steven. So when I married into my husbands family I had to learn the art of watching sports on tv. I admit at first I didn't like it at all, but slowly they have converted me! My husbands family are big Redskins fans, going back to my father-in-laws days of having a complete signed set of cards. So, yeah I get a little into the Redskins now...I'll never forget (nor will my husband) the first time I jumped off the couch and screamed with excitement over a touch down. I was really into the game. I have come to love this Redskins Fan tradition.
I guess the Redskins tradition will be carried on...
