Easter Sunday (a ridiculously long post)

It has long been a tradition in my family to go to my Granny Piatt's house (my Dad's mom) for Sunday dinner. Of course on Easter Sunday, dinner was followed by dying eggs and an Easter Egg hunt! As kids we looked forward to this hunt and hoped to find the most eggs as that made you the winner of the prize. Now that I am grown I'm thrilled to pass that tradition on. My Granny had 6 grandkids, all of which are married except one. All 5 married grandkids have kids. My Granny now has 13 great-grandkids. These great-grandkids now get to enjoy the Easter egg hunt and us grandkids get to take over the position our parents once had. It is a lot of fun!

Tailor our 'emo' teenager.

Jeffrey, Lathen, Kiera and Tanner

Jeffrey and Lathen got in trouble for fight with sticks so they dropped them to the ground and began fighting with hands. Lathen loves playing with Jeffrey because Jeffrey is his size but two years older so it makes for a lot of fun.

Morgan, Jeffrey, Lathen and Tanner running!

Kiera fell down trying to keep up. Lathen went back and helped her up and then walked back with her. I love when they are so sweet to each other.

The kids had a blast with Uncle Jeff yelling down the drain. Secretly my cousin Josh went across the road to the other drain and began to yell back. The kids thought he was stuck down in the drain and we all got a big laugh out of it. It reminded all of us when we were kids, my Dad running around my Granny's house on the farm and yelling down different pipes or vents having us all over the house trying to find him!

Dying Easter Eggs!

Baby Gracen, our newest little one. Except she wasn't so little; birth weight 10 lbs!
