Monumental!

For those who know us well, you must not have lived near us long. What I mean is that when we moved into our house here in Texas it was our 13th move in just under 5 years. The longest we have lived in any one place has been a year. You heard that right, one year! We have bounced around North Carolina, up to Virginia out to Utah, back to North Carolina and then to Texas. We have made so many friends along the way, you should see my Christmas card list. Addresses trailing all over the country! My Dad jokes saying he never writes our address in ink because he knows he'll have to change it soon. Well Dad, a monumental moment has happened in the Huff home. We celebrated one year in Texas on Sept. 14th and there is no move in the works. Breathe! I know, I know it's unbelievable but it is true. I guess even nomads stop wondering at some point.

I sort of feel like I know what some of the saints must have thought when they rounded the corner and Brigham Young said that "This is the right place!"
"Here?! Seriously!" I would have never never guessed that the place we bought our first home, the place we would live the longest (so far) would be Texas. But like the saints I will make the best of it! Cheers to living in Texas. Hot, humid and lovin' it!
