And I'm not just talking about the beautiful flowers of Spring. I'm talking about Lathen. He has really taken a jump in the growing up department. First he is really catching on to reading. He read his first book last week all by himself. He has gotten good at sounded out words and he loves to read to people.
Also, just today, for the first time, Lathen rode his bike with no training wheels.
Ok Lathen, you can slow down already! Before I know it you'll be off on your mission. Then again, it's a lot of fun to see you accomplish new things. Bittersweet, bittersweet.

Lathen you super boy...same command as I gave your sister...STOP GROWING! At least slow down a bit till we can come out and see you okay? I miss you Lathen and can't wait for you to read to me too. I love you.
