Independence Day!

We celebrated our Independence with a few good friends and our grill! We made my Granny's homemade BBQ sauce and marinated our chicken in it. We also made steaks, corn and squash on the grill. It was all very yummy. We played in the backyard with the slip n' slide and the tire swing (thanks Jared for all the pushing you did). Then we walked across the street to a grassy knoll and watch fireworks. We counted something like 12 different ones we could see, but two were right close to us. It was tons of fun. Then we had a birthday toast to our country. We also played some Dance Dance Revolution and then the women killed the men in a game of Cranium (ok so we barely squeaked by)

I love Kiera's pigtails. :)

And you asked which car broke. It was the one we got from my dad. So now we have 2 cars, neither of which is drivable. Oh joy.

Great pics! Don't you love fireworks? I think we saw the same two shows, standing on a hill next to the golfcourse up there. I love how they are all over the metroplex.
