Last tid-bits from our trip

We went down to Kevin's parents house on the weekend that their ward was doing a huge BBQ to celebrate the anniversary of the start of that ward. They cook up an entire pig and oh is it delicious!
The kids favorite part? Papa's big blue truck!


Our last few days in NC were nothing but rain. We did find one window of opportunity and finally went canoeing. That may sound strange but when you grow up canoeing and your husband grows up canoeing and you've never been together it's just sort of weird. We took Lathen with us for our first (and his) canoeing trip together. It was so much fun. I didn't take the camera but the memory will be in my head forever!

And finally a picture to show the dedication of our kids to the mulberry tree. It was pouring down rain, but that was not going to stop them from eating mulberries, oh no!
