Updates and the count down

First let me say that we have our ultra-sound in 4 days!!! Which means if you haven't voted in the poll you might want to do that because Friday morning (if all goes well) we should know if we are having a boy or a girl.

I mentioned in a previous post that Lathen failed his eye exam at his 5-year-old check-up. So last week Lathen had his first appointment with the eye doctor. He is farsighted with his right eye being significantly worse than his left. The doctor prescribed glasses. He also prescribed these drops that I will put in his left eye once a day to blur it slightly for a few hours to make his right eye work harder and strengthen. The doctor feels confident that over time Lathen's eyes should correct themselves. After the appointment we headed off to pick out some frames. Let me tell you, Lathen is so excited. He asks me everyday if we are picking his glasses up today. I'll post pictures of him in them when we do pick them up which should be anytime from Thursday to Saturday.


I made some banana pudding the other day, it was good.
