Thunderstorms

I can remember as a kid sitting on the back deck watching lightening streak the sky and reflect off our lake. I can still hear the rain smacking against the water and the roll of thunder that could shake the house. I guess the joy of watching the wonders of our world have been passed on to my children. The other night we had a thunderstorm roll through and the kids were engulfed in its wonder. They watched the lightening with excitement on their faces, jumped with a thrill when the thunder would rumble and stuck their little hands out the window to feel the rain.
